World Champion Valentino Rossi won first title of the season, winning the Commercial Bank Grand Prix of Qatar MotoGP in Losail Circuit on 11th April 2010 to start the new season with a high note with his Fiat Yamaha Team. Pole winner Casey Stoner crashed in fifth lap while in lead. Jorge Lorenzo came second and Dovizioso edged Nicky Hayden for third. Rossi's victory was the 104th of his career who won 6 MotoGP titles and one 500cc World Championship in 2001.
